CIV/065 examinations programme, North West & Central: 2,243 sites

Remit

Delivery of 2,243 CIV/065 examinations on various earthwork and cutting assets across West Coast South, Central and North West (in NW&C), including all required possession planning, line-blockage planning, Safe Work Planning (SWP) and third-party liaison.

Delivery

The programme was planned and sequenced around Network Rail compliance dates, with our own EE and EEE examiners delivering the examinations and our crews self-delivering the access enabling works.

Circa 170 to 200 examinations were delivered each week, with the Year 1 programme delivered ahead of schedule.

Outcome

A high-volume examination programme delivered ahead of schedule, with possession, line-blockage and SWP planning handled in-house alongside the examinations themselves.
